Numicon Display Resources: Pattern and Sequence
The resources are set out on A4 or A3 pdfs and are designed to be printed out and then cut up and used in whichever way you like. The thumbnail images below show the content of each of the resources. They are not to scale and don't represent the layout of the pdfs.
Important note about printing pdfs
Most printers default to print pdf files within the printable area of the page. This effectively means that pdf files are automatically scaled down to fit the page. In order to print our display resources at the correct size you will need to choose ‘page setup’ and select the appropriate page scaling options (either ‘None’ or ‘100%’ depending on the application and printer you are using).

0-1000 Number Line (added 18/11/08)

Children are fascinated by big numbers and this 0-1000 Number Line pdf plays to their interest. The resource is set out over several A3 sheets and will need to be cut out and laminated. The finished length is approximately 10m so it will need to be displayed along a corridor. The 0-1000 number line will help to raise the visual profile of number in school and children really enjoy finding higher numbers and practicing counting along it!
