A new 'multi sensory' Numicon Number Line

It's always the simple ideas that are most effective. A teachers from Sevenoaks Prep in Kent has created a 3D number line by gluing Numicon Shapes to a board to create a truly 'multi-sensory' experience...

Just a 'random' idea: we found that our number lines wear out quite easily and so we have made one in the corridor by mounting real Numicon pieces on a wooden board. The children can walk past and feel them (and they do). This might be rather expensive to market but I just thought I would throw it out as a suggestion...

Numicon is brilliant. We have an inspection next week. We hope they will like it!
