Numicon Kits

These are the core resources for maths in our range. Use this section for details about what is included and covered in each kit.

Numicon Software

The Numicon software for Interactive Whiteboards provides a rich library of images and models to support maths teaching and to enhance the multi sensory Numicon programme in whole class teaching sessions.

Number Books and Music CDs

'Numicon at the seaside' is the first in a series of Number Book and Music CDs. It is designed to help children aged 4-5 develop a rich understanding of number ideas through a combination of picture and song.

Spares and accessories

All components found in the Numicon Kits including the printed teaching files are available separately although assembled kits cost less than the sum of the parts. Accessories are grouped into categories.

Training resources and Professional Development

We often use the phrase “there’s no magic in the plastic, it’s what you do with it that counts”. We see our professional development courses as very important part of what we do because it helps teachers get started and enhances the use of the Numicon resources.

Also available is Working with Numicon – Training resource and DVD which serves as a valuable dissemination tool for post training staff meetings.
