Success in maths - Helping children to understand numbers and calculations

A workshop in which participants are introduced to the theory and practice of the Numicon Approach. This session reviews the difficulties that early numeracy presents to many young children and illustrates how, by the use of a variety of structured imagery in a supportive environment, these difficulties can usually be overcome.
